This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies concentric single-pointer round-type indicating thermometers, hereinafter referred to as the \"thermometers\" which indicate temperatures by means of the rotation of pointers resulted from the movement relative to the temperature change of the free-end of the bimetal one end of which is fixed, among the thermometers with temperature sensors of straight tube type to be used in the temperature range of -50 to 500 degree C.
