This Japanese Industrial Standard applies to each pump belonging to turbo pumps (except submergible motor pumps), rotary pumps and reciprocating pumps (except oil hydrolic pumps) and specifies the method of measurement of A-weighted sound pressure level of steady noise radiated from the body of pump.
