This standard specifies, among the connection devices specified by JIS C 0901, the requirements for the explosion-proof type plug connection devices, hereinafter referred to as the \"connector\" including plug and socket, which are used for connection between each cabtyre cables or between electrical apparatus and cabtyre cable and whose rating is continuous service at the rated a.c. voltage is up to 600 V.
