This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies contactor relays for general control, hereinafter referred to as the \"relays\", to be used for circuits of not exceeding 600 V a.c. with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz, or 250 V d.c. For hinge type relays exclusively used for communication equipment, electronic computer or the like, as well as relays for specific use such as voltage relay, current relay, time limit relay, however, this standard does not apply.
