This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements, together with the test methods, required to show compliance of fluorescent lamps which is integrated with the means for controlling starting and stable operation (i.e. self-ballasted lamps), intended for domestic and similar general lighting purpose. The applicable range is: a rated wattage up to 60 W; a rated voltage of 100 V to 250 V; an E type or B type cap The requirements of this Standard related only to design test and type test.
