This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies electromechanical pressure type thermostats with capillary tube with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, rated current not exceeding 20 A, and a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, to be incorporated in appliances, used for temperature control of such freezing and air-conditioning appliances as electric refrigerators, electric freezers and room air conditioners.
