This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the rectifer type dc arc welding machines with drooping characteristics (hereafter referred to as \"welders\"), mainly composed of a transformer, a rectifier and a current regulator, to be used by connection with a single-phase or three-phase AC power source at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This standard, however, does not specify the accessories (such as high frqeuency generator for tig arc welding) incorporated in welders.
