This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies electric fans having axial flow blades of 20 cm to 40 cm in diameter driven by induction motors in the category of desk, Japanese room (zasiki), wall pedestal, ceiling oscillating and special type fans mainly used in general household (hereafter referred to as \"fans\").
