This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the test methods for adhesive strength between shoe and brake lining of the brake shoe assemblies of automobiles, between carrier metal and either pad or coating material and between coating material and pad of the disk brake pad, provided that the rivetting brake shoe assemblies and disk brake pads are excluded.
