This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods for coating or protective coating of steel water pipe, hereinafter referred to as the \"pipe\", by using coal-tar enamel, hereinafter referred to as the \"enamel\". However, the interior coating of field joint applies to pipes of not less than 800 a in nominal diameter.
