This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon steel wires for cold heading and cold forging, hereinafter referred to as the \"wires\", to be used for the manufacture of various types of screws such as bolts, nuts, rivets, machine screws and tapping screws and various parts by cold heading and cold forging.
