This Standard specifies the structural steels with specified hardenability bands by Jominy test, which are manufactured by hot forming, such as hot rolling and hot forging, originally used after further process of forging, cutting, cold-drawing, and so on and heat treatment of quenching/tempering, normalizing, carburizing/quenching, and so on.
