This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the testing methods for thermal cycle and thermal shock resistance of thermal barrier coatings to evaluate the durability of the thermal barrier coatings which cover the hot parts such as the combustion chamber, rotating blade and stationary blade of gas turbine for power generation used in the thermal power plant.
