This Standard specifies the unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes used mainly for piping to convey general fluids. However, the fittings for drain shall be in accordance with JIS K 6739 and the unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes for water works shall be in accordance with JIS K 6742.
