This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies diallyl phthalate molding compounds. The molding compounds mentioned in this Standard are the powdery, granular or flaky materials manufactured from prepolymer and monomer of diallyl phthalate (including both types, ortho and iso) by blending various reinforcing base materials, fillers, polymerization initiators, lubricants, colorants, etc., and they have nature to harden and to make moldings when they are properly heated and pressurized in metal molds.
