This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for urinary stone and foreign object extractor and forceps, which is designed to temporarily insert into the body for the purpose of extraction of urinary stone and removal of residual calculus after lithotripsy by extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, etc., prevention of the calculus movement during lithotripsy and extraction of the foreign object out of urinary passage, etc.
