This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies, of those inhalation anesthetic machines used mainly for the human body, continuous flow anesthetic machines and related parts, including vaporizers, breathing tubes, breathing bags, etc. Intermittent flow (demand type) anesthetic machines, breathing circuits for babies and newborns and parts exclusively for lung ventilators are excluded.
