This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the refractometer with which the spherical refracting power, cylindrical rdfracting power and astigmatic axial direction of a lens for correction required to gain the same condition as the refracting power of an eye, namely the normal vision, are to be known, measuring the refreacting conditions of an eye-ball optical objectively.
