This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies high-pressure steam sterilizers for sterilizing medical appliances by using saturated steam (hereafter referred to as the \"sterilizers\"), having vessel of 0.25 MPa (2.5 kgf/cm*2) or less in maximum using pressure corresponding to pressure vessel specifications specified by country, of automatic operation type and semi-automtic type. However, except sterilizers corresponding to biohazard containing washer sterilizer.
