This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the oxygen deficiency indicator to be used for the determination and monitoring of oxygen concentration, or for alarm inside wells, vertical shafts, tunnels, pneumatic caissons, pits, manholes, septic tanks, closed conduits, cellars, underground rooms, tanks, boilers, reaction towers, hoppers, silos, warehouses, holds, etc. liable to generate oxygen deficiency.
