This Standard specifies requirements and test methods for electromagnetic emission and immunity of electrically powered wheelchairs and motorized scooters with the speed of max.15 km or less per hour, for disabled persons use and for outdoor and indoor use. This Standard is also applicable to manual wheelchairs with power device, and wheelchairs designed for single passenger use. Moreover, additional requirements for electromagnetic emission and immunity of electrically powered wheelchairs with built-in battery charger are specified (Not applicable for battery charger which is not incorporated).
