This specification covers the following types of weatherproof connectors of the “TPS” series, designed to produce minimum discontinuities in a solid dielectric coaxial cable of a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms, up to a frequency of 10 Gigahertz and rated at 1,500 volts rms at sea level (see 6.4).
