This specification covers the requirements for the preparation of technical manuals (TMs) and checklists for aircraft preparation, for functionally testing various armament systems, and for loading/unloading conventional airborne weapons/stores that are approved for carriage on/in naval aircraft, conventional weapons assembly and airborne weapons support equipment description/configuration. Also included are requirements for the preparation of an airborne weapons/stores publication index. The requirements are applicable for both paper and digitally displayed page-oriented TMs and checklists.
