Defines procedures for determining the environmental stress cracking (ESC) of plastics, using a constant-strain test. Applicable to finished products and test specimens prepared by moulding and/or machining, for use for assessing both ESC of a plastic product or material exposed to different environments, and for determining the ESC of different plastics materials exposed to a specified environment.
