Esta Parte da ABNT NBR ISO 4254 especifica os requisitos de seguranca e os meios de sua verificacao para o projeto e construcao de maquinas autopropelidas conduzidas com o operador a bordo, maquinas montadas, semimontadas e tracionadas utilizadas na agricultura a fim de tratar dos riscos que sao tipicos para a maioria das maquinas. Adicionalmente, esta Norma especifica o tipo de informacao sobre praticas de trabalho seguras, incluindo informacoes sobre os riscos residuais a serem fornecidos pelo fabricante.
