Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für vier Typen von flexiblen Kunststoffschläuchen mit Textileinlage für Druckluftanwendungen in einem Temperaturbereich von -10 grad C bis +60 grad C fest. Die vier Typen werden eingestuft in leichten Einsatzbereich mit einem maximalen Betriebsdruck von 7 bar bei 23 grad C und 4,5 bar bei 60 grad C, einen mittleren Einsatzbereich mit einem maximalen Betriebs-druck von 10 bar bei 23 grad C und 6,5 bar bei 60 grad C, einen schweren Einsatzbereich mit einem maximalen Betriebsdruck von 16 bar bei 23 grad C und 11 bar bei 60 grad C und einen schweren Einsatzbereich zur Anwendung im Bergbau mit einem maximalen Betriebsdruck von 25 bar bei 23 grad C und 13 bar bei 60 grad C.
