Diese ÖNORM behandelt in Ergänzung zu ÖNORM EN 14788 (in Vorbereitung) die Planung von Aussenluftbedarf, Luftverteilung, Brand- und Schallschutzmassnahmen, Regelung und Steuerung, Ermittlung der Wärmeleistung (mit Wärme- und/oder Feuchterückgewinnung), Ausführung sowie Betrieb und Wartung von kontrollierten Wohnungslüftungs-Systemen. Kontrollierte Wohnungslüftungs-Systeme im Sinne dieser ÖNORM sind mechanische, in Dauerbetrieb befindliche Zu- und Abluftanlagen für Wohnungen. Weiters werden Anforderungen an die Komponenten sowie Methoden zur Prüfung der entsprechenden Leistungsdaten festgelegt.
