Presents Bellcore's view of the description of the changes planned to the Inter Switching System Interface (ISSI), described in TA-TSV-001059, as a result of the requirements on XA-SMDS & BCC-ILEC interconnection arrangements contained in TR-TSV-001060. The purpose of this document is to provide early input to Switching Systems suppliers on the changes planned to the ISSI which would enable them to incorporate ISSI features in early implementations of SMDS switching equipment.
