The objective of Bellcore's Personal Communications Services (PCS) Network Access Services Special Report is to solicit industry comment on the result of network and operations planning work leading toward the development of a set of network access services for Personal Communications Services Providers. The goals of Bellcore's Personal Communications Services project are to enable Bellcore's client companies to offer an initial set of PCS Access Services to PCS Service Providers (PSPs) in 1994 and to offer a more robust complement of PCS Access Services in 1995. This issue of the SR contains a Network and Operations Plan for Access Services to Personal Communications Services (PCS) providers which documents the capabilities and features that comprise the access services and specifies and validates a network and operations architecture.
