Provides Bellcore's view of guidelines for the desired functionality of an optional encryption capability in the Analog Display Services Interface (ADSI). The Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) end is described in terms of a CPE peripheral, although a supplier is free to instead integrate the capability into the CPE, itself. Two versions of the encryption capability are presented in this document.
