TA NWT 000474 : ISSUE 1

This document is a reorganization of TR-TSY-000474. The changes made include the removal of redundant material & the clarification of some technical material. In addition, the document has been renumbered & restructured to make it easier to use. The proposed changes to TR-TSY-000474 do not affect the original intent of that document. This TA is still designed to provide Bellcore's proposed preliminary view of generic requirements that relate to the maintenance of Switching System & Transport System Network Elements (NEs). After completing the TA industry review process, it will be published & released as a new issue of TR-TSY-000474 & incorporated into the Operations Technology Generic Requirements (ORGR).
