TA NWT 000495 : ISSUE 5

Sets forth Bellcore's preliminary view of generic requirements for an interface between Network Nodes & an OS that supports network traffic management for NEs & network systems. The focus of this document is to provide a set of services & a model for communications across this interface. This issue reflects the migration of registered objects into TR-NWT-000495 Issue 1 & the use of objects from the T1M1 OAM&P Generic Network Model. The information model has been expanded to support surveillance of Remote Switching Sites (RSS), proposed CCSN manual Controls, & surveillance of SCPs.
