Presents generic requirements for Precast Concrete Manholes that, in Bellcore's view should be met to satisfy the needs of a typical Bell Client Company. Precast Concrete Manholes are often used in public Right of Way and should be in compliance with applicable building codes. This document provides minimum requirements to meet service needs and provide design criteria for expected surface and soil loadings as would be encountered in typical installations of manholes in BCC applications, and thereby should enable procurement of structure meeting needs and in compliance with applicable building codes.
