Defines a procedure for the volumetric determination of water-extractable chloride in pulp or paper. It is suitable for chloride content from 0.01% up to 1% but can be modified to extend this range to a limited extent. It is not intended for electrical grade pulp or papers with chloride content less than 50 ppm.
