Provides certified values for ash, volatile matter, total carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, total sulphur, carbonate carbon, phosphorus, mineral matter, gross specific energy and relative density. Indicated values are also provided for water of hydration, pyritic sulphur, sulphate sulphur and chlorine. It replaces the first reference coal sample (ASCRM 001), issued in 1982, which has now been withdrawn. Included in purchases of ASCRM 009.
