Gives Telcordia's view of generic requirements for Network Plenum Cable/Wire. These requirements are intended to meet the minimum operational compatibility or service consistency needs of a typical BOC on the carrier side of the network interface or demarcation point as defined in Federal Communication Commission Part 68 Rules. The requirements included are functional criteria, generic mechanical and electrical requirements, and test methods to help in comparing the product against the stated requirements.
