Gives Telcordia's view of certain generic requirements for Network Shielded Station Wire that are necessary to meet the minimum operational compatibility or service consistency needs of the user on the carrier side of the network interface or demarcation point as defined in Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) Part 68 Rules. The Network Shielded Station Wire is intended primarily for voice frequency and low speed data transmission applications as well as in loud speaker paging systems.
