Describes proposed requirements for TL1 message structures & data elements for network element (NE) memory administration functions described in FR-NWT-000472, OTGR, Section 2, Network Element (NE) Memory Administration. Memory administration in an NE generally refers to functions such as adding, deleting, or altering data stored in the NE database. These databases contain the information an NE needs to carry out operations functions essential for not only providing services supported by the NE, but also for maintaining the quality of these services. This issue provides the messages & data dictionary information required for the memory administration functions for transport (including SONET) & switching (including ISDN & AIN) NEs.
