Sets forth Bellcore's proposed view of generic requirements for an interface between network Nodes & OSs supporting network data collection for NEs & network systems. The focus of this document is to provide a set of services & a model for section oriented communication between network nodes & an NDC OS. The ISO Guidelines for the Definitions of Managed Objects were used to present the model. A diskette containing the GDMO templates & supporting productions from Section 10 through 14 of this document is available upon request.
