Defines Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for the Digital Signal Zero "A" (DS-0A 64 kb/s) Systems Interconnection currently used in BCC central offices as an internal interconnect for digital services. It covers the electrical specifications of the interconnection, the frequency and phase synchronization requirements, and the DS-0A format. This document is intended to define a BCC internal interconnection and is not intended to define a service interconnection to BCC networks for end users and/or access interconnection for interexchange carriers, or other exchange carriers, or enhanced service providers.
