This standard defines the requirements to be met by a high performance corrosion protection decorative solvent-borne coating which is applied over metal substrates in the decorative market, and which is applied on buildings, their trim and fittings and related structures with purposes decorative, functional and protective.The standard UNE 48316 only takes into account the corrosion protection of decorative coatings. This standard does not apply to other protection coatings such as:-against microorganisms (algae, fungi, bacteria)-against chemical agents (acids, alkalies, organic solvents, gases)-against mechanical effects (abrasion)-against fireThis standard does not apply to other kind of coatings such as:-powder coating material-curing oven coatings-coatings with dry film thickness over 2 mm
