IT ESTABLISHES A METHOD FOR MEASURING THE THICKNESS OF LEATHER. IT CAN BE APPLIED TO ALL LEATHERS, WHATEVER THEIR FORM OF TANNING, EXCEPT FOR LEATHERS OF 3 mm THICK OR MORE, BOTH FOR WHOLE LEATHERS AS WELL AS TEST SPECIMENS.
