Every Standard in Intertek Inform is assigned a status. Knowing what each status means helps ensure you select the most accurate and legally compliant version.
- Current: The latest, up-to-date edition. Use this for new projects and compliance requirements.
- Pending Revision: Under review. If no update is approved within 12 months, it may be withdrawn.
- Available Superseded: Replaced by a newer Standard but still available, often because it is referenced in legislation. Use with caution.
- Superseded: Fully replaced by a newer edition of the same Standard.
- Withdrawn: Removed from sale and no longer valid. May or may not be replaced.
- Lapsed: Past its review period and unlikely to proceed further.
