This Standard applies to time-delay switches (timers), with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A, intended for fixed electrical installations for domestic and similar use, indoors and outdoors, manually and/or remotely controlled and equipped with a mechanical, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical time-delay device or a device operating with any of these combinations.
