This Standard applies to time-delay switches (timers) with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A, intended for fixed electrical installations for domestic and similar use, for indoor or outdoor, manually and/or remotely controlled and which are equipped with a mechanical time-delay device, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic or electric, or operating with one of these combinations.
