Provides organized guidelines for designing spacecraft hardware that can be serviced on-orbit by EVA astronaut or telerobotic manipulators or a combination of such techniques with emphasis on unit and subsystem interfaces. Developed for use by those involved in spacecraft equipment and payload design. Also includes sections on design of orbital replacement units, consumables resupply, and an extensive checklist. This version is published for a formal trial use.
