AIAA SP 017 : 1991

This publication provides terminology for 267 terms critical to communications about the design and function of parachutes. Also gives specification for stitching, seams, views and projections, graphic description of materials, together with related dimensions and tolerances, all of which are consistent with current procurement practice. Several figures are included to illustrate the requirements. Additional illustrations of several types of finished parachutes are provided in an appendix.
