Sets out gravimetric and potentiometric methods for the chemical analysis of ferroalloys.

This Standard sets out a gravimetric method for the determination of the silicon content of ferrosilicon and ferrosilicomanganese. The method is applicable to alloys containing silicon in the range 15 percent to 80 percent.
