This Standard relates to the principal grades of ferrochromium currently used in Australia, as listed in Table 1. The Standard specifies the key technical and commercial requirements for the supply of these products.Sampling methods for ferroalloys, precision and bias in relation to sampling of ferroalloys, and methods of chemical analysis for selected ferroalloys, including ferrochromium, are covered by AS 3586 Parts 1 to 4, and AS 3587 Parts 1 to 6.
