Sets out gravimetric and potentiometric methods for the chemical analysis of ferroalloys.

This Standard specifies a potentiometric method for the determination of the manganese content of ferromanganese and ferrosilicomanganese.The method is applicable to alloys containing manganese in the range 55 percent to 95 percent.
